A Practical Framework for Product Managers & Founders — June 30, Bucharest.
25+ years of building, selling and scaling software products — distilled into one intensive day. Real frameworks. Real case studies. Real decisions you can apply the next morning.
This workshop is designed for people who already work with products — and want a sharper, more structured way to think about them.
You have a product or are scaling one. You want a rigorous framework to sharpen your value proposition and accelerate commercial traction.
You're in the role but want a proven strategic framework that connects customer problems to business outcomes.
You work in or adjacent to fintech and want to understand how successful software products are built and commercialised.
Four blocks. Theory, real examples, and hands-on team exercises — all in one day.
We align on what a software product really is and where the PM role sits inside an organisation — then immediately ground it in a live case study: Symphopay. The goal is a shared language and strategic lens for the rest of the day.
09:00 – 10:30The strategic core of the workshop. A simple but powerful validation framework that forces you to define your customer, your solution, and your competitive moat — before you invest a single euro in development.
11:00 – 12:30In teams of 4–5, you'll apply the WHOM/WHAT/WHY framework to a real product — yours or an assigned case. Each team presents, gets challenged, and iterates. This is where the real learning happens.
13:30 – 15:00 · Hands-onMVP thinking. Product roadmap. Go-to-market strategy. How to get your first sale. Distribution channels. The practical playbook for moving from validated idea to first customer — without burning your runway on the wrong things.
15:00 – 16:30A full day — structured to build on itself, with space to breathe.
Daniel has spent 25+ years at the intersection of product, technology and commercial strategy — building software products from zero to acquisition across antivirus, payments, e-commerce and fintech. He has held roles as Product Manager, Country Manager, Regional Director and CEO across companies that were eventually acquired by Microsoft, Naspers, Francisco Partners and Verifone.
This workshop is not theory. It's the framework Daniel has applied — and stress-tested — across every product he has built.
Special rate for RoFintech community members. Non-member tickets available at open enrollment price.
Not required, but highly recommended. The more concrete your idea, the more you'll get from the team exercise in the afternoon. If you don't have one, we'll assign you to a team working on a real case study.
Both, deliberately. The morning covers key concepts with live case studies. The afternoon is fully hands-on — you work in teams, apply the framework, and present to the room. The ratio is roughly 50/50.
Full-day workshop, all printed materials and workbooks, coffee and snacks at both breaks, lunch, and a certificate of completion.
Select the member ticket and include your RoFintech membership in the registration. We'll verify before sending payment details.
The framework is deceptively simple — but the value is in applying it rigorously to a real product under peer pressure. Most experienced PMs leave having sharpened their value proposition or identified a blind spot in their competitive moat. The team exercise in the afternoon is where this becomes concrete.
