Short Introduction

FărăGrijă is a Romanian InsurTech and motor-claims assistance platform that helps drivers manage the administrative, operational and legal steps following a road incident. Through annual service packages, customers can access claim notification, insurer communication, roadside assistance, replacement vehicles and specialised legal services.

About the Company

FărăGrijă was created to simplify the experience of handling an MTPL motor-liability claim after an accident, and then expanded to cover a wider range of situations. The platform is operated by Bewell Technologies S.R.L., a Romanian company established in 2017.

Customers purchase a service package before an incident occurs. If an eligible incident subsequently takes place, the FărăGrijă team guides the customer through the claims process, helps assemble the required documents and photographs, notifies the relevant insurer and follows the progress of the claim. Depending on the selected package, the services may also include towing, a replacement vehicle, assistance with recovering a suspended driving licence, legal consultation or support for obtaining  compensation through court proceedings.

The company combines a digital platform with call center support and a network of specialised partners. Services such as roadside assistance, vehicle replacement and legal representation are supplied by independent authorised partners.

FărăGrijă does not replace the insurer and does not determine whether a loss is covered under the MTPL policy. The authorised insurer remains responsible for opening, assessing and settling the insurance claim in accordance with the applicable policy and Romanian law.

Service packages

• Basic package — claim-file opening and notification, guidance throughout the claim process and assistance related to recovering a suspended driving licence.
• Standard package — Basic services plus selected mobility and legal-support benefits, including a replacement vehicle, towing after an accident and an initial legal opinion.
• Premium package — extended assistance, including all the Standard services, plus legal court representation and towing in case of technical breakdown, subject to the package conditions.

Services included in the packages

• Digital claim notification and claims-file assistance — collection and transmission of accident information and supporting documents to the relevant insurer. Guidance concerning documentation, appointments, insurer requests and the progress of the claim, as well as communication with the insurer on the customer’s behalf, within the mandate and service conditions accepted by the customer.
• Claim-related consultation — practical information and assistance concerning the motor-claims process. The direct channels clients can use include Whatsapp, email, and a call center.
• Roadside assistance and towing — supplied under the terms and conditions of specialised mobility partners. Depending on the package, it is offered in case of accident and/or technical breakdown.
• Replacement vehicle — temporary access to a vehicle in eligible cases according to MTPL legislation and the partner terms and conditions. 
• Legal consultation and representation — provided through specialized law firms, depending on the purchased package and the circumstances of the case.
• Driving licence recovery support — guidance and, where included, legal assistance related to contesting a licence suspension.

Licences & Regulatory Status

• Service provider: Bewell Technologies S.R.L. operates FărăGrijă as a technology-enabled motor-claims and post-accident assistance service. Although purchased before an accident, the Basic, Standard and Premium packages represent contractual assistance services. They are not insurance products or insurance coverage.
• Not an insurer or an insurance broker: The company does not underwrite or sell MTPL policies, assume insured risk or pay insurance compensation. The relevant authorised insurer remains responsible for coverage decisions and claim settlement.
• Partner-delivered services: Roadside assistance, replacement vehicles, legal services and any regulated insurance-intermediation activities are delivered under the terms and authorisations of the relevant specialist partners. Legal opinions and court representation are provided by authorised lawyers or law firms. FărăGrijă facilitates access to those providers but is not itself a law firm.
• Insurance-claims framework: The claims-notification service operates in the context of Romania’s MTPL framework, including Law no. 132/2017 and the applicable Financial Surveillance Authority rules. The insurer—not FărăGrijă—decides whether an incident is covered.
• Data protection: Bewell Technologies acts as a personal-data controller for the data processed through FărăGrijă. The platform handles identity, vehicle, accident and insurance-document information and is therefore subject to the GDPR and Romanian data-protection legislation.
• Corporate identification: Bewell Technologies S.R.L. is registered with the Unique Identification Code 37273506 and the Trade Registry number J2017001166121.
