Leadership
Short Introduction

Lendrise is a Romanian financial-data fintech that enables individuals to understand and control their financial identity, while helping financial institutions access verified credit, income and identity information for onboarding, eligibility and risk-assessment processes.

About the Company

Lendrise Marketplace S.R.L. is a Romanian fintech company headquartered in Sinaia and established in 2018. Its current focus is the development of a portable digital financial identity that combines verified identity information with credit history, declared income, payment behaviour, credit commitments and other indicators relevant to financial risk.

For individuals, Lendrise provides access to information obtained from official or institutional sources, including credit reports from Biroul de Credit and income information from Romania’s National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF). Users can review their information, better understand how financial institutions may assess them and control when selected data is shared with third parties.

For banks, non-bank lenders, credit brokers, fintech platforms and other businesses, Lendrise offers standardised financial profiles and API-based data access intended to reduce repeated checks, shorten onboarding and support more consistent eligibility and credit-risk decisions. Access and sharing are presented as consent-based and auditable.

The company also develops services around financial education, verified customer reviews and financial-access infrastructure for proximity retail. Lendrise acts primarily as a technology and data-services provider; its published consumer terms state that it does not grant loans, arrange credit contracts or provide personalised credit recommendations. Licences & Regulatory Status
  • Technology and data-services company: Lendrise’s published terms describe the company as the operator of a technical platform. When obtaining credit-report or income information, it acts under a mandate granted by the user and transmits information supplied by Biroul de Credit or ANAF.
  • Not a lender: The terms expressly state that using the platform does not create a loan or other financial-services contract with Lendrise or another entity.
  • Not acting as a credit intermediary under the published consumer flow: Lendrise states that it does not perform preparatory or pre-contractual administrative activities for credit agreements and does not make personalised recommendations concerning credit transactions.
  • No BNR authorisation identified: Lendrise Marketplace S.R.L. was not identified in the public materials reviewed as a bank, non-bank financial institution authorised by the National Bank of Romania, payment institution or electronic-money institution.
  • No ANPC credit-intermediary registration claimed: The current Lendrise terms do not claim that the company is registered with the National Authority for Consumer Protection as a credit intermediary. Where credit intermediation or personalised advice is offered by a partner or external consultant, that provider’s own authorisation or registration must be assessed separately.
  • Payments handled by authorised processors: Lendrise’s terms state that card and other payments for its services are processed by specialised authorised payment processors and that Lendrise does not store payment-card details.
  • Data-protection obligations: Because the platform processes identity, credit and income information, its operations are subject to the GDPR and Romanian data-protection legislation. User consent or mandate is central to accessing and sharing the relevant information.
  • Official-data access is not a financial licence: Access arrangements involving Biroul de Credit and ANAF do not by themselves make Lendrise a bank, lender or public authority. ScoreRise’s app disclosure also states that the service is not affiliated with, authorised by or endorsed by Biroul de Credit, ANAF or another government body.
  • ProxiCash regulatory boundary: The public ProxiCash page describes bill-payment and cash-in/cash-out capabilities but does not identify a payment-services authorisation held by Lendrise or the regulated financial partners that would execute those operations. Until that structure is publicly clarified, ProxiCash should be described as financial-access and distribution infrastructure rather than as payment services independently provided by Lendrise.
  • European expansion: References to Luxembourg, EUDI Wallets, Open Finance and cross-border interoperability describe the company’s product direction; they should not be interpreted as evidence of an EU regulatory passport or a separate financial-services licence.
