Short Introduction
i-Tom Solutions is a Romanian software company that develops digital platforms for financial automation, business administration, education and public-sector workflows. Its flagship fintech product, FGO (Finance to Go), combines invoicing, RO e-Factura, accounting connectivity, bank-data integration and operational automation for Romanian SMEs.
About the Company
Founded in Bucharest in 2006, I-TOM SOLUTIONS S.R.L. develops and operates proprietary software products alongside custom digital solutions. The company’s current public portfolio includes FGO, the 24edu school-management platform, Smart City solutions and a C2I command-and-control software initiative. Its main registered activity is software publishing, and its current headquarters are on Strada Popa Soare in Bucharest.
FGO is the company’s main financial-technology platform. It connects invoicing, the Romanian RO e-Factura / SPV infrastructure, accounting software, banks and commerce platforms into a single operational flow for entrepreneurs and accountants. According to a 2026 AWS case study and company reporting, FGO supports more than 170,000 Romanian SMEs and has evolved from an invoicing product into a broader financial-management and automation ecosystem.
The platform includes bank connectivity, automated transaction-to-invoice matching, supplier invoice workflows, accounting integrations and embedded banking experiences. i-Tom Solutions has developed direct integrations with ecosystems such as BT Go and Salt Bank and also offers APIs and embedded functionality for financial and commercial partners. In 2025-2026, FGO expanded its use of generative AI, including automated support and natural-language interaction with company financial data.

Licences & Regulatory Status
i-Tom Solutions’ regulatory and operational position includes the following:
- Software / technology provider: I-TOM SOLUTIONS S.R.L. is a Romanian software company and the owner and provider of the FGO platform. Its public materials do not present the company as a bank, payment institution or electronic-money institution.
- FGO contractual status: FGO’s current Terms and Conditions identify S.C. i-Tom Solutions S.R.L. as the provider and owner/administrator of the FGO web platform and mobile applications.
- PSD2-enabled bank connectivity: FGO offers bank-account connectivity and transaction synchronisation using PSD2-based flows and direct banking integrations. The platform states that connections are made with the user’s explicit consent and without storing bank credentials; this functionality should not be interpreted as evidence that i-Tom Solutions itself holds a separate banking or payment-institution licence.
- Payment processing for FGO subscriptions: FGO’s terms state that online card payments for its own subscriptions are processed by Netopia Payments and that FGO does not process or store card data.
- RO e-Factura / ANAF integration: FGO provides technical integration with the Romanian SPV / RO e-Factura infrastructure, including automated transmission and retrieval of e-invoices. This is a software and compliance-enablement function rather than a separate financial-services authorisation.
- GDPR roles: FGO’s current privacy and contractual documentation states that i-Tom Solutions acts as data controller for direct platform-user data and as processor for certain personal data entered by customers regarding their own clients, employees or partners.
- AI governance: FGO’s 2026 privacy documentation expressly references both GDPR and Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (AI Act) in connection with AI-enabled functionality integrated into the platform.
