Licences & Regulatory Status
UniCredit Bank S.A. is a Romanian credit institution authorised and supervised by the National Bank of Romania. It is recorded in the BNR Banking Register under number RB-PJR-40-011/18.02.1999.
Eligible deposits are protected under the Romanian deposit-guarantee framework within the applicable statutory limits. Investment and capital-market services are provided according to the authorisations and conduct requirements applicable to each activity.
The bank is also subject to EU banking supervision, prudential, AML, PSD2, data-protection and operational-resilience requirements.
